🍻 Happy World Beer Day from Cervimundo! 🍻
A global celebration… with local flavor...
Every first Friday of August, the whole world raises a glass to pay tribute to one of humanity's oldest and most beloved beverages: beer. And at Cervimundo, where beer is passion, culture, and art, this date is more than special.
🌍 A bit of history...
The World Beer Day was born in a small bar in Santa Cruz, California (USA) in 2007. In 2012 it was established that the International Beer Day would be celebrated on the first Friday of August, to coincide with the start of the weekend, in order to facilitate the participation of a larger number of people to celebrate this wonderful drink. Since then, the initiative has grown and is now celebrated in more than 200 cities across over 50 countries.

Its purpose is simple yet powerful:
Gather with friends to enjoy beer.
Celebrate those who brew and serve it.
Unite the world under the same beer toast.
But the history of beer dates back to over 7,000 years ago, to the ancient civilizations of Mesopotamia and Egypt. It was considered sacred, nutritious, and, in many cases, safer to drink than water.
🌎 And in Cuenca… it is celebrated at Cervimundo
At Cervimundo, we don’t just sell beer: we live it, we share it, we tell its story. From our bar, every bottle and every pint is an experience, a story that connects with cultures around the world and with the palates of our customers.
This World Beer Day, we invite you to celebrate with us:
- Cervimundo Beer Shop (In front of Monay Shopping): 3x2 on German Paulaner Beer and the iconic Spanish beer 1906
- Cervimundo Gastro Pub (Plaza 33): 3x2 on House Beers from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM this Friday and Saturday.
